This page explains how to delete your LearnPlay account (operated by LearnPlay) and the data associated with it. It applies to parent and teacher accounts, and to the child profiles created under them.
Delete a child profile (keep your account)
A parent or teacher can remove an individual child at any time: sign in, open the Parent Dashboard (or Teacher area), choose the child, and select Delete profile. This permanently removes that child's profile and all of its gameplay data (scores, stars, answers, play history).
Delete your entire account
To request deletion of your whole account and all associated data (your parent/teacher account plus every child profile under it), do either of the following:
- Email us from the email address on your account at privacy@learnplay.net with the subject "Delete my LearnPlay account". We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.
- Or use the in-app Contact form and choose "Delete my account".
What is deleted
- Your account login (email and hashed password).
- All child profiles you created (names/nicknames, avatars, hashed PINs, year of birth, voice preference).
- All gameplay data tied to those profiles (scores, stars, time played, answers).
What may be kept
We may retain a limited record of billing/transaction history for as long as required by law and tax/accounting rules (typically up to 7 years). Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers. Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you or your children may be retained. Backups are purged on our normal rotation, within 90 days of deletion.
